This practical training course provides participants with the basic knowledge and skills required in post-conflict areas and fragile situations, independent of the specific function they will fulfill. All modules enhance desirable personal attitudes, stress the importance of active involvement in the host society, and promote a reflective and critical approach.
The core course gives basic understanding of major functional tasks in the field as well as of the goals and approaches of actors involved. Participants also get acquainted with various field-work techniques. The course is suited for
- Individuals who want to prepare for deployment in post-conflict areas and fragile situations
- Professionals working in crisis management who want to conceptualise their skills and knowledge
- Individuals who want to serve as multipliers in their own countries and communities, passing on the knowledge and skills obtained in the course
COURSE FEES: 1.690€ include tuition fees, course materials, coffee breaks, full-board accommodation, joint transport to and from the airport, and a social event.
